Our current Dial Don’t Drive campaign focuses on educating residents of Manitoba and beyond on what a heart attack is, the signs and symptoms, and what you should do if you or a loved one are having one. We are using our social media networks to spread the message about the importance of dialing 911 for a heart attack.

We’re launching a new project - Tailoring Post Discharge (TPD), referred to as ACS-24, a quality improvement and research project aimed to help patients receive the ongoing medical care, education, and support based on their needs, wants, and level of understanding.

This case demonstrates the importance of serial clinical assessments and ECGs. Within 8 minutes, the patient’s ECG changed drastically from no ischemic changes to a clear anterolateral STEMI.
